For the 4th Annual Marigot Festival, May Fest 2010, Marigot Development Corporation (MDC) through the tremendous efforts of Vena Prevost and her team. Once again delivered a spectacularly successful and entertaining Queen Show.
On Saturday 1st May 2010 five stunning young ladies from Atkinson to Calibishie vied for the title “Miss May Fest Queen 2010”.

These beautiful young ladies introduced themselves with confidence and pride and left pageant patrons impressed by the performances.
Ms Atkinson, Ms Davis shined brightly among her colleagues. She was gracefully crowned “Miss May Fest 2010”. First Runner up Ms. Turnisha Celestine rocked the stage with her confidence and original talent. Ms. Bedminister made her and host community Marigot proud as she was awarded Second Runner up and best evening wear.
Our other two contestants Ms. Shemima Francis from Calibishie and Ms Tamica Hinds from Wesley also made their performances at the show personal achievement. In the question and answer section of the competition, Ms Francis mesmerized the crowd with her views on the topic “the future”. She was adamant that we are the ones who care in control of it.
The May Fest 2010 Queen Show, supported through main sponsor Prevost Enterprises, was a great accomplishment for all the ladies. The thoroughly entertained patrons were further rewarded by performances from local calypsonians and the Swinging Stars Band.
They all had a blast!!!!
